We will examine the world of operator air quality, shedding light on the technologies, standards, and industry practices that improve the air quality in operator cabs. We seek to have a conversation with those designing operator cabs, those working in operator cabs, and the industrial hygiene community that is committed to operator enclosure air quality.
The International Society of Environmental Enclosure Engineers (ISEEE) discovered several opportunities to improve health outcomes for heavy equipment operators by providing education on cab engineering best practices, real-world cab performance testing, and cab certification. We address the concerns of the machine operator who relies upon others to provide a safe and healthy cab environment.
ISEEE members represent several stakeholder groups, including engineering, industrial hygiene, and executive leaders who are active in standards development and have participated in national and international standards committees, specifically on operator enclosure air quality. The blog will range from cab engineering topics and operation integration of operator enclosures to standards and regulations specific to operator enclosure air quality.
We desire to get more stakeholders involved in the conversation. The blog will remain salient, humorous when possible, and we hope, interesting.
